Some Experience with online roleplay, I have played on a few minecraft roleplay servers, of course I am open to constructive critism about how I role play as their is always room for improvement.

Define Metagaming and Powergaming;

Mg:Using knowledge that you as the player have in the game, that you character would not have, granting the player an advantage. This takes away from the depth of the roleplaying.

Pg: Roleplaying in such away that you take control of a situations possible outcomes, like in a combat situation you grant your character immortality. THis takes away from the enjoyment of the roleplaying experience for the other players
