~Elementals~

Scattered across the universe, there are ethereal realms, called Elemental Realms. In these realms, gods reside, and rule. For example, Asmos, the God of Fire, rules over the Elemental Fire Realm. Inside these Elemental Realms are the construct guardians of the realm's god, as well as beings formed of that pure element. These are called Elementals, and come in as many variants as there are elements. Air, Fire, Water, Earth, Darkness, and Light. Though, for the sake of classifications, Air is considered Lightning, and Water is considered Frost, Cold, or Ice.Elementals are odd, in that they usually wander aimlessly in their realm, though have a tendency to manifest in the mortal realm every now and again. Elementals can form in varying strengths, each classified by a title:

Elementaling
Minor Elemental
Lesser Elemental
Elemental
Greater Elemental
Major Elemental
Elemental Lord

Some consider gods themselves to be elementals, in which case they would be considered Elemental God's, the next step above Elemental Lords. As a reference to power levels of Elementals, on a range from 1-20, 1 being the level of a rat, and 20 being the level of a god...

Elementaling- 2 --> On par with a medium sized animal. Little challenge to a person.
Minor Elemental- 3 --> On par with a bear-sized animal. Some challenge to a person.
Lesser Elemental- 5 --> Just under the power of a person. Quite challenging.
Elemental- 7 --> Slightly higher power than a person. Provides a good fight.
Greater Elemental- 12 --> Considerably more powerful than a person. Almost impossible to fight alone.
Major Elemental- 15 --> A force to be reckoned with, several times stronger than any one man.
Elemental Lord- 18 --> Only a tad bit under the power of a god. Worthy of great praise if you can pull off a victory, though pretty much impossible.
Elemental God- 20 --> The power of a god, as it is a god. There's no point in challenging on, as the chances of coming out alive, even with an army, are just about zero.

Beyond the six elements, there are also Elementals born of... not elements. Though they're mostly the same, these Elementals, created through vices, are not exactly like Elementals, in that they are not influenced by an elemental force. They're influenced by misdeeds. They are often called Shades, though their true names are still Elementals. These are the Elementals of Inert, Hatred, Greed, Lust, Cruelty, Envy, Lust, Insanity, and Avarice. Governing all of these Elementals is one form of Elemental, a Chaos Elemental. While lacking a true title like most other Elementals, a Chaos elemental is always considered to be at par with a major elemental, and as such, is a force to be reckoned with.

As a side note, Major Elementals and above(Elemental Lords and Gods) are all fully sentient creatures, and can hold conversations, retain memories, and have unique and complex personalities. No two Elemental Lords or Major Elementals are ever alike, even between the different elemental variants.
