~The Avians~

Avians, the denizens of the air. From birth, Avians appear to be ordinary humans. Though, after a few years, feathered wings burst from their backs, and they take on the appearance of their race. Avians tend to enjoy spending time high above the ground, and live in nests atop tall buildings, tall trees, or built into mountain sides. By nature, Avians are an inventive race. They are the first and only race to master "magiscience", or the combined use of magic and technology. That being said, the art of magiscience is very much unstable, and rarely produces a perfect outcome, often possessing a flaw of some sort. While not every Avian is a master magiscientist, each Avian has an innate ability to put together... something. Scraps of metal and natural materials that they claim are goggles, each of which is imbued with a small amount of magic, enough to cast a single spell before falling apart. In terms of appearance, the hair and feather colours of Avians generally matches, and comes in the colours of most bird species, though vibrantly coloured parrots or other bird species are never seen. Their eye colour tends either shades of amber, black, and grey.
