At the age of 11, he was freed by foreigners. A mage under the name of Archias, adopted Balthazar into his apprenticeship. After 15 years of learning, he traveled to the city of Sovereign where he worked at the local inn. Then, two years ago, the old man who owned the inn died and left it in Balthazar's hands. He's been there ever since.
